<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defect inspection method of an optical film constituted such that adhesion of an adhesive on a mold releasing film or roughening of the surface of a mold releasing agent is inhibited during defect inspection of a part of the mold releasing film by peeling while remaining a part of the mold releasing film in the defect inspection of the optical film. <P>SOLUTION: The defect inspection the steps are as follows: a leader member bonding step of providing a leader member which is bonded at the end of the mold releasing film; a leader member folding step of folding the leader member to the end of the mold releasing film; a mold releasing film peeling step of peeling the mold releasing film from the adhesive agent layer continuously to a prescribed position after the end of the mold releasing film started to peel from the adhesive agent layer while relatively moving the optical film and adhesive agent layer to the folded leader member so as to peel the releasing film from the adhesive agent layer; and a defect inspection step of defect inspecting the peeled prescribed region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
