PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently utilize memory capacity of an information storage means. SOLUTION: An EPS control apparatus 50 drives and controls a motor 9 on the basis of a current instruction value determined according to a current value of current passing through the motor 9 provided to an electric power steering device, and a steering torque. In the case of occurring a trouble or the like in the electric power steering device, a CPU 101 provided in the EPS control apparatus 50 stores a torque value of a torque sensor 41, a driving current value of the motor 9 detected by a current detection circuit 130 and so on in a EEPROM 104. In this case, the CPU 101 stores the torque value and the driving current being the information to be stored in the EEPROM upon reducing the information quantity of the same.
