PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof plug for a connector capable of preventing damages of a seal member, and obtaining superior seal performance. SOLUTION: In the waterproof plug 4 for the connector to seal a housing 3 in which terminal fittings 2, 2 fixed to the tip part of electric wires 100, 100 are housed inside, this is equipped with the elastically deformable seal member 4A which is pressed in and housed in the housing 3 and has at least two elements 40A, 41A that hold the electric wires 100, 100 by pressure pinching and are closely contacted with its outer peripheral face, and hinges 4B to form between the elements 40A, 41A insertion holes 6, 6 which couple elements 40A, 41A while capable of extending/folding the seal member 4A, and which allow the electric wires 100, 100 to be threaded through by inserting the terminal fittings 2, 2.
