PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To insert a connection terminal with one hand by holding a retaining section with one hand in order to enhance operability. SOLUTION: When an electric connector C is inserted into an insertion groove 6 of the retaining section 1 from a side with a right hand while the retaining section 1 is held by a left hand, a hook section 7a of a first locking lever 7 is fixed on a base 2 by locking the electric connector C. The connection terminal T with an electric wire W is inserted into each terminal insertion port of the electric connector C at this situation. Then, an operator simply inserts the electric wire W with a color and a pattern coincided with the sample into the terminal insertion port of the electric connector C since an electric wire indication section for making a sample of the electric wire W arrange in a sample groove is prepared on an adapter 3, and consequently, the operator can avoid erroneous insertion of the electric wire W. When insertion operations of the whole connection terminals T are completed, locking of the hook section 7a on the electric connector C is removed by pushing an operation section 7b of the first locking lever 7, and the electric connector C is pulled out from the insertion groove 6 of the retaining section 1.
