PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote monitoring system of an elevator capable of detecting system fault caused by failure of a database and abnormality of a communication network at an early stage in a state when a program normally works. SOLUTION: This remote monitoring system of the elevator constituted of remote monitoring terminals T1 to T3 to measure operation data of the elevators EL1 to EL3 and a monitoring center CT to collect these operation data by using telephone lines N1 to N3 includes a schedule number tabulation part IN to tabulate the terminal number scheduled to collect, a result number tabulation part OUT to tabulate an output value tabulating the terminal number completed to collect for each of territories and an output value which is a collected result output value of a previous month and a communication fault determination part TJ to determine it as occurrence of communication fault when proportion of the value tabulated at the result number tabulation part against the value tabulated at the schedule number tabulation part is less than prescribed.
