PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deviation of a delivered part in a moving direction, bending at the tip part of the delivered part, disorder of cord arrangement, etc. when moving the delivered part slidingly on a conveyor surface. SOLUTION: This apparatus for cutting and carrying out a ply material for a tire is provided with a ply supply means 5 delivering and supplying the supply direction front end side of a long strip-like ply material 2 to the front side over a cutting position P1 for every cut length L; a carry-out conveyor 6 having a conveyor surface 6S for transfer-placing the delivered part 2A of the ply material 2; and a cutting means 8 for cutting the delivered part 2A in the cutting position P1 to form a cut piece 3. The carry-out conveyor 6 comprises a drawing means 15 for holding the front end 2E of the delivered part 2A to draw it in the supply direction. The drawing means 15 has a drawing sheet 16 receiving and holding the lower face of the front end 2E of the delivered part 2A and moving forward in the supply direction substantially at the same speed as the supply speed of the ply supply means 5.
