PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic replacement apparatus capable of performing mounting and removing of a printing plate in a short time and efficiently. SOLUTION: A printing plate feeding apparatus 50 is provided on one side part of the outer periphery of a plate cylinder 10 having a locking groove 12 opened and closed by a locking lid 16 and a printing plate tightening shaft 14, and a printing plate discharging apparatus 100 is provided on the upstream side of the printing plate feeding apparatus 50. A holding member 120 of the printing plate discharging apparatus 100 stands by at a position facing one side of the outer periphery of the plate cylinder 10, and the bottom side end part of the printing plate P mounted on the outer periphery of the plate cylinder 10 is held by the holding member 120. After the holding member 120 is elevated under the holding condition to remove the printing plate P, the printing plate P hung and supported by the hanging member 51 of the printing plate feeding apparatus 50 is forwarded onto the outer periphery of the plate cylinder 10 by lowering the hanging member 51, to mount the printing plate P.
