The invention provides a process for the production of connected sheet products by which two or more sheet products can be connected to each other with their end faces being faced to each other. A process for the production of connected sheet products by connecting sheet products which each comprise as the essentials both an optical member and a mold release film provided on one side of the optical member by means of a pressure-sensitive adhesive to each other, characterized by setting the first sheet product and the second sheet product in such a way that the widthwise end faces of the first and second sheet products are faced to each other and connecting the mold release films of the first and second sheet products to each other with a connecting member (30a) and the surfacing members covering the other sides of the first and second sheet products respectively to each other with a connecting member (30b).
