A computer unit (10-2) includes computer components (20-2-1 to 20-2-3) each including a processor, and a computer component controller (30-2) for transmitting and receiving control signals to/from the computer components (20-2-1 to 20-2-3) via radio transmission paths to control the operations of the computer components (20-2-1 to 20-2-3). A computer unit (10-1) also has the same structure. In accordance with an instruction from an external control terminal (40) which has recognized a failure in a computer component controller (30-1), the computer component controller (30-2) simultaneously controls the operations of computer components (20-1-1 to 20-1-3) included in the computer unit (10-1) while transmitting and receiving control signals to/from the components via radio transmission paths.
