<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device in which dead space of an optical disk device can be effectively used and wide internal space can be obtained without increasing size and thickness of an optical disk apparatus with the pickup device mounted thereon, and to provide an optical disk APPARATUS using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The optical pickup device 100 includes: an optical system unit; a circuit board controlling the optical system unit and transmitting a signal; a case 101 housing the optical system unit and the circuit board; and an FPC 105 which is connected electrically to the circuit board, extended to the outside from the case 101, the extended part being folded back, and the extended direction being changed. The FPC 105 is folded back so as to face a side surface 104 of the case 101 positioned at an extension base end, in the side surface 104, the outer surface is bent in a convex shape toward the folded back part of the FPC 105. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
