PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that reduces a superposition error of toner images between photoreception drums, by setting off speed fluctuation of conveying bodies after starting writing of an electrostatic latent image onto the photoreception drums, and that stably outputs an image of high quality. SOLUTION: A positional index 32 of an optical incremental pattern is formed in an intermediate transfer belt 9. Readers 33Y, 33M are arranged in a just front position of primary transfer parts TY, TM to detect the positional index 32. The yellow toner image and the magenta toner image are primary-transferred to the intermediate transfer belt 9 to be superposed, while positioned in the same number of positional index, in the photoreception drums 1Y, 1M. Moving devices 35Y, 35M are moved in response to a delay/advance of the positional index 32 detected periodically by the readers 33Y, 33M. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
