<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for preventing shoulder stiffness which has a configuration to reduce the weight of arms by connecting right and left triangular muscle holders to prevent the load of the weight of the arms on the muscles around the shoulders with the use of an expansible band to fit a human body, and to easily attach/detach the triangular muscle holders to the arms, and also which includes armpit protection bodies for preventing arteries, veins, and nerves in the armpits from being pressurized. <P>SOLUTION: The device for preventing shoulder stiffness includes: the triangular muscle holders for covering the right and left triangular muscles, which are respectively individually arranged; the expansible band whose ends are extended respectively from the front, middle, rear part ends of the respective triangular muscle holders so as to be converged at a part close to a prominent vertebra being one of cervical vertebrae; the armpit protection bodies which are arranged in the lower ends of the triangular muscle holders so as to prevent the arteries, veins, nerves in the armpits from being pressurized; fixtures for fixing the triangular muscle holders to the arms; and fastening members having sheet surface materials for fixing. Consequently, the loads on the shoulder muscles by the weight of the both arms are reduced, and also a poor blood circulation is prevented, which is caused by the tension of the muscles when the shoulder muscles are pulled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
