PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a tire having high grip performance, especially high wet grip performance, and excellent processability in preparation, and to provide a tire. SOLUTION: Disclosed is a rubber composition for a tire obtained by blending 10-70 pts.mass of a terpene resin exhibiting a liquid state at 23°C and having a viscosity of 20-150 Pa s at 90°C based on 100 pts.mass of a raw rubber component.
