PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a riding detection structure for a vehicle which is inexpensive and surely detects that a rider sits on a seat. SOLUTION: The riding detection structure for the vehicle includes the occupant seat 52 for providing seats for the rider and a pillion passenger in tandem which is integrally formed and sitting sensors 72L, 72R that detect that the rider sits on the seat. The sitting sensors 72L, 72R are arranged below the front end of the occupant seat 52 and the vicinity of a longitudinally central portion of the occupant seat 52.
