PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch system capable of preventing a collision of mutual teeth when switching to an engaged state from a release state. SOLUTION: A clutch 1 has mutually coaxially arranged first engaging member 5 and second engaging member 6. A permanent magnet 12 whose magnetic pole is directed in a direction for mutually repelling these teeth 8 and 10, is arranged in respective tip parts 8a, 10a of the tooth 8 of the first engaging member 5 and the tooth 10 of the second engaging member 6.
