PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor which can be easily assembled. SOLUTION: A rotary compressor C (compressor) has an electric element 5 and a rotary compression element 8 (compression element) driven by a rotary shaft 6 of the electric element 5 stored in a hermetic vessel 1. The compressor is provided with a vessel body 2 constituting the hermetic vessel 1, and an end cap 3 blocking one end opening of the vessel body 2. A through-hole 20 is formed at the end cap 3. An electric terminal 22 is attached to the through-hole 20 with a glass seal 21 and electricity is supplied to the electric element 5 by the electric terminal 22. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
