PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust system for a motorcycle rationally matching and solving contrary demands for keeping length of an exhaust pipe as long as possible and for shortening total length of the exhaust system, balancing an exhaust system arranged at a lower part of an engine between right and left in a vehicle lateral direction, and enabling concentration of mass of the exhaust system arranged at the lower part of the engine. SOLUTION: The exhaust system for the motorcycle includes a first silencing chamber 24 positioned at a lower part of an engine, collecting exhaust pipes extending from exhaust ports of the engine, and having engine exhaust gas flow therein, a second silencing chamber 30 arranged to a vehicle body lateral direction of the first silencing chamber and having exhaust gas from the first silencing chamber flow therein at position of the lower part of the engine, and a silencer 35b positioned in rear of the second silencing chamber in a vehicle longitudinal direction, and emitting exhaust gas flowing into the second silencing chamber to an outside.
