PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underground space filling method for filling a closed underground space formed in the natural ground and extending in one direction, with a filler by sufficiently pressurizing the filler, to thereby completely fill the underground space. SOLUTION: According to the method an injection pipe 7 is inserted into a zone 1a via a hole 6 such that a front end of the injection pipe reaches the vicinity of a packer 5. At this time the injection pipe 7 is distorted but the front end of the injection pipe 7 does not make contact with the ground in an inclined pit 1. Then the filler 8 is filled into the zone 1a via the injection pipe 7, and thereafter the zone 1a where the filler 8 is hardened is excavated, followed by extensively excavating the hole 6 so as to reach a zone 1b adjacent to the zone 1a. Further the injection pipe 7 for feeding the filler 8 is inserted into the zone 1b via the hole 6, and the filler 8 is filled in the zone 1b via the interior of the injection pipe 7.
