PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous liquid composition which is used for controlling acarid and exhibits a high acarid-controlling effect at room temperature, to provide a packed aqueous liquid composition which is used for controlling acarid, can be coated on targets in a small amount in a wide area, and can uniformly impart a high acarid-controlling effect to the targets, and to provide a method for controlling acarid with the same. SOLUTION: This aqueous liquid composition for controlling the acarid is characterized by comprising the following ingredients (A), (B), (C) and (D). (A) is one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of tertiary amines each having one or more 8C to 22C long chain hydrocarbon groups in the molecule, the neutralized products of the tertiary amines, and the quaternarized products of the tertiary amines. (B) is one or more carboxylate compounds selected from the group consisting of 5C to 33C acyclic aliphatic carboxylate compounds and 8C to 33C aromatic carboxylate compounds.
