PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package structure and its storing method capable of preventing any careless turn of a stored article having a circular cross section, without troublesome storage works. SOLUTION: After an article 2 to be stored is stored in a storage part 92, from a rear opening part 95 of a surface component 11 with a front part 81 of the stored article which is directed to a surface 93 side of the storage part 92; an insertion part 161 of an insertion plate 151 is inserted, into a space between a bottom surface 43 of the article 2 and a lower end face 112 of the storage part 92; and a projecting part 201, provided to the insertion part 161 is inserted into a recessed part 53 of the bottom surface 43 of the article 2 and engaged thereto. A back-side component 12 is fitted to a back side 94 of the surface component 11 to close the rear opening part 95, and the article 2 is held in the storage part 92 of the surface component 11. Here an opposing part 241 and an opposing piece 162 of the insertion plate 151 are arranged on the rear opening part 95 side of the storage part 92, extending along the back-side component 12.
