PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently manufacture booklet-like product where a half spread page is inserted inside a V-folded spread page, in line with no need to have special procedures. SOLUTION: The triple-width continuous sheet 1 obtained by adding the half spread page to the spread page is made to travel along the center line of a former 2, and the continuous sheet 1 is slit by a slitter 3 into the spread page sheet 1a and the half spread page sheet 1b on the upstream side of the former, and then, the spread page sheet slit by the slitter is moved so that the center of the spread page sheet in the width direction may align with the center of the former, and also, the half spread page sheet slit by the slitter is moved in vertical and width directions so that the half spread page sheet may be laid beneath one page piece of the other spread page sheet, then, the spread page sheet is V-folded by the former in the state where the half spread page sheet is laid beneath one page piece of the other spread page sheet, thereafter, cut to a prescribed width in the top and bottom direction.
