The center arm rest (01) has a cover (05), which is positioned on a carrier (02) of the center arm rest in a pivoted manner. The mounting unit has a friction disk, against which the pivoted lever lies in friction-locked manner along the part of the swiveling path to transfer friction forces onto the pivoted lever.
