<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal recording material having good water-resistant and yellow resistance of an unrecorded unit. <P>SOLUTION: In the thermal recording material having a thermal recording layer containing an electron-donating normally colorless to pale color dye precursor and an electron acceptive compound for coloring this dye precursor by reacting upon heating on a supporting element, and a protection layer containing adhesives on this thermal recording layer, an acetoacetyl denatured polyvinyl alcohol is contained as adhesives in the protective layer, and an aldehyde compound represented by the general formula (1) as a crosslinking agent is contained in the thermal recording layer or the protective layer in this thermal recording material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
