<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid transfer device capable of obtaining higher efficiency than before, and to provide a fuel cell equipped with the fluid transfer device. <P>SOLUTION: The fluid transfer device has a looped elastic body 1, at least two piezoelectric elements 3, 3 arranged on the elastic body 1 along the direction of the loop, and at least one flow path 6 formed along a flat plate section 11 of the elastic body 1. Voltages having phases different from each other are applied to both the piezoelectric elements 3, 3 to generate in the elastic body 1 a bending wave advancing in the direction of the loop, and this transfers fluid in the flow path 6. The fuel cell has an MEA placed in the looped elastic body, and a liquid flow path and a gas flow path are formed along the MEA. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
