<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens unit assembling method facilitating assembling and improving mass productivity of the lens units by reducing assembling time while assembling the optical elements with the axial angles thereof precisely adjusted to the lens barrel. <P>SOLUTION: The high precision lens unit 100 can be assembled easily by attaching the objective lens 1 and the diffractive optical element 2 respectively to both sides of the lens barrel 3 so that the direction mark 1b and notches 2b, 3i formed respectively on the objective lens 1, the diffractive optical element 2, and the lens barrel 3 have a predetermined angle relation. When the objective lens 1 and the diffractive optical element 2 have astigmatism, the relative angle of the direction marks 1b and notch 2b is aligned with a predetermined angle, for example, to obtain orthogonal astigmatism, so that the astigmatism can be canceled to reduce the astigmatism of the lens unit 100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
