<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caliper brake device for a vehicle exhibiting original brake force of a brake block. <P>SOLUTION: This caliper brake device for the vehicle includes an actuator 60 pressing the brake block 7 to a disk 6. The actuator 60 is provided with a cylinder 80 formed in a caliper body 10, an elastic film 75 attached to the cylinder 80, an elastic film chamber 63 defined between the cylinder 80 and the elastic film 75 and supplied with air pressure (fluid pressure) in braking, and a pressing plate 65 interposed between the elastic film 75 and the brake block 7. The elastic film 75 is swollen by air pressure (fluid pressure) introduced to the elastic film chamber 63 in braking, thereby pressing the brake block 7 to the disk 6 by the pressing plate 65. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
