<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caliper brake device for a vehicle exhibiting original brake force of a brake block. <P>SOLUTION: This caliper brake device for the vehicle includes an actuator 60 pressing the brake block 7 to a disk 6. The actuator 60 is provided with a cylinder 70 formed in a caliper body 10, an elastic film 75 attached to the cylinder 70, and an elastic film chamber 63 defined between the cylinder 70 and the elastic film 75 and supplied with air pressure (fluid pressure) in braking.
