<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tuning fork piezoelectric resonating piece and a tuning fork piezoelectric resonator capable of absorbing shock. <P>SOLUTION: A supporting arm 18 includes a first portion 20 extending from a base 12 so as to be protruded in a second direction opposite to a first direction, a second portion 22 extending, in the first direction, from a position where the second portion is protruded in the second direction rather than the base 12, to a distal end, and a third portion 24 connecting the first and second portions 20 and 22. The base 12 is positioned while being held between the second portion 22 of one supporting arm 18 and the second portion 22 of another supporting arm 18. The third portion 24 includes a first outer edge 32 turned in the first direction and a second outer edge 34 protruded in the second direction most in the supporting arm 18.
