PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that processing becomes weighty as the number of access times to a memory increases when a table is switched for every bidirectional printing path in an inkjet printer, and that an overhead is also large because of the necessity for downloading the table each time when image processing is carried out by a controller. SOLUTION: The color conversion table is switched between at the time of printing in a forward direction and at the time of printing in a return direction only when it is judged as necessary by reading color difference information embedded in the color conversion table.
