PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely suppress the generation of heat in an IC at a secondary defect by a simple configuration. SOLUTION: When overcurrent due to a secondary defect continues to flow, abnormal heat generation may occur in an IC. When overcurrent due to the secondary defect is detected, an enable signal becomes low level to stop the operation of the IC before the IC generates abnormal heat. When overcurrent due to the secondary defect is detected, the operation of the IC is stopped, the input of overcurrent is eliminated, and the enable signal becomes high level. Thus, the above operation of starting the IC, stopping the operation of the IC due to the detection of overcurrent, or the like is repeated. A timing that the enable signal becomes high level from the low level is delayed by means of a delay circuit section, so that a duration of operation of the IC in an overcurrent state can be appropriately reduced, thereby the temperature condition in the IC is controlled.
