HEAT EXCHANGER AND COOLING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger and a cooling method for efficiently cooling a condenser without installing an exclusive apparatus to attain operation with a good coefficient of performance. SOLUTION: An air conditioner 100 used as the heat exchanger includes a compressor 202 liquefying a heat transfer medium; a condenser 204 radiating the heat of the liquefied heat transfer medium; a damp layer 208 covering the outer surface of the condenser 204; a water supply part 212 supplying the damp layer 208 with water; and a fan 216 allowing air to flow to the condenser 204.
