PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing apparatus which recovers the filtration efficiency sufficiently after washing without adhering turbid substances to a filtration module when raw water in a casing is discharged together with turbid substances. SOLUTION: In the filtration apparatus in which a filtration module 5 is stored in the casing 1 through which the raw water W is introduced and an aeration means 6 is stored at the lower part of the filtration module 5, the washing method of the same is characterized by introducing the raw water W into the casing 1 from the lower position than that of the filtration module 5 and discharging the raw water W within the casing 1 from the more upper position than that of the filtration module 5, while aerating the filtration nodule 5 by means of the aerating means 6 to wash.
