PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water surface-floating agrochemical granule having excellent floating and diffusing properties on the water surface. SOLUTION: The water surface-floating agrochemical granular composition includes an agrochemically active ingredient, an alkanediol derivative represented by formula (I) (wherein, X<SP>1</SP>represents a 6-14C divalent saturated hydrocarbon group; A<SP>1</SP>and A<SP>2</SP>represent each a 2-4C alkylene group; m and n represent each an integer, with the proviso that the sum total of m and n is any of integer of 1-7; when m is an integer of ≥2, A<SP>1</SP>s are each same or mutually different; and when n is an integer of ≥2, A<SP>2</SP>s are each same or mutually different), a condensed phosphoric acid or a salt thereof, a floating adjuvant, and an extender. The contents thereof are preferably 0.1-80 wt.% of the agrochemically active ingredient, 0.1-10 wt.% of the alkanediol derivative, 0.1-10 wt.% of the condensed phosphoric acid or the salt thereof, and 10-95 wt.% of the sum total of the floating adjuvant and the extender.
