PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair type massage machine capable of allowing a person being treated to have a sufficiently stretched feeling. SOLUTION: A control section 50 provided on chair type massage machine 1 is constituted to allow an air cell (a pressure part) 7c to press so as to push up the vicinity of the lumbar part of a person being treated supported by the backrest 3, linked with reclining of a backrest 3 by an actuator 37.
