<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for arbitrating the processing order of a print job and a display job in order to minimize the latency until a display job is executed. <P>SOLUTION: The image output apparatus includes a section for storing an image to be output, a section performing image processing for display, a section for printing an image processed for printing, a section for displaying an image, a section for instructing execution of a display job for displaying an image selectively, and a job control section for starting a print job or a display job in response to an instruction, wherein the job control section controls jobs to be registered in a queue and started in the order of instruction upon receiving an instruction for starting a plurality of print jobs and/or a display jobs, and moves a display job to the head of a queue upon receiving an instruction for starting the display job under a state where the display job is registered after a print job. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
