<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved vector so as to enable a targeted delivery system to be used in a clinical setting, and to provide a system for producing the improved vector. <P>SOLUTION: A method and a composition for producing a targeted delivery vector are provided. Such a vector is useful for treating neoplastic disorders. Furthermore, a protocol for administering a targeted delivery vector in a clinical setting so as to achieve a curative effect is provided. Besides, "targeted" virus and non-virus particles, for example, retrovirus vector particles, adenovirus vector particles, adeno-related virus vector particles, herpes virus vector particles and pseudovirus, e.g. associated with vesicular stomatitis virus G protein (VSV-G), are provided.
