<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid medicine dispensing device capable of identifying the kind of a set liquid medicine in an earlier stage. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid medicine dispensing device comprises a rotary unit 12 which rotates while holding a plurality of original drug vials 100, and a conveying mechanism for conveying a prescription bottle 110 in the horizontal direction on the lower side of the rotary unit 12. Each rotary unit 12 is freely moved to/from the outer side of the device so as to perform the setting work of the original drug vial 100. At a position facing the original drug vial 100 held by the rotary unit 12, a single bar code reader 24 is installed. The bar code reader 24 reads identifiers for medicine kinds attached to the original drug vials 100 successively moved to the front accompanying the forward and backward movement of the rotary unit 12.
