<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supercharger capable of materializing low cost while reducing wear at a sliding section especially when a large outer diameter drive ring is provided therein. <P>SOLUTION: The supercharger is provided with a turbine driving a turbine impeller 5 by exhaust gas, a variable capacity device varying flow speed of exhaust gas by opening and closing a plurality of nozzle vanes 31, a compressor driving a compressor impeller by rotating force of the turbine impeller 5. The variable capacity device includes a drive ring 33 oscillatably supported by an annular shroud 12 surrounding a turbine impeller 5 in a circumferential direction. The drive ring 33 includes a rising part 33a extending along a radial direction of the shroud 12, and a slide part 33b connected to the rising part 33a and slidably abutting on the shroud 12.
