DEVELOPING ROLL FOR ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC APPARATUS, AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing roll for an electrophotographic apparatus which has more uniform surface ruggedness than heretofore. SOLUTION: The developing roll 10 is provided with a bottom layer 20 and a surface layer 18 covering the surface of the bottom layer 20. Particles for forming roughness 22 are distributed in the surface layer 18 coming into contact with the bottom layer 20. Surface irregularity 24 is formed on the surface of the surface layer 18 due to the particles for forming roughness 22. It is desirable that 90% or more of the particles for forming roughness 22 is in contact with the bottom layer 20. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
