PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of efficiently performing photography with a story without applying time and effort. SOLUTION: A target region A1 to which a taken image should be applied and displayed, and template data constituted so that instruction information for instructing what image should be photographed as the image which should be applied to the target region is displayed at a position corresponding to the target region are prepared. In the imaging apparatus, screen display based on such template data is performed. Thus, what kind of photograph should be photographed is instructed to a user. In addition, thus, troublesome image arrangement after photography is made unnecessary by adopting a technique for preparing a template for applying the taken image and applying the taken image there.
