PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gyro-mill-type windmill blade and a simply-structured windmill using the same, which can self-start even by a low-wind velocity zone and is capable of generating high rotary torque in every wind velocity zone. SOLUTION: The blade 10 has a depression 11 comprising a space formed, on an underside of the blade 10, toward an anterior edge of the blade with a posterior edge of the blade as a basic point, and openings 12 which make the depression 11 and an upper surface of the blade 10 to communicate with each other.
