PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately stop a continuous resident application program stopped according to a situation. SOLUTION: A controller (101) of a mobile telephone (100) executes an application program, checks a program stop permission flag of the application program to be executed when shifted to a power-saving mode, and determines whether to continue or temporarily stop the execution of the application program to be executed. If the temporary stop condition of the application program being executed is satisfied, the controller (101) rewrites the program stop permission flag of the application program to a value for permitting the stop of program execution.
