PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of drivability when switching hydraulic pressure by a hydraulic control device for an engine having a two-stage hydraulic system. SOLUTION: The hydraulic control device 100 for the engine for controlling hydraulic pressure of oil discharged by an oil pump 2 of the engine to low hydraulic pressure or high hydraulic pressure is provided with a fuel injection amount correcting means for increasing/reducing fuel injection amount of the engine in accordance with switching of the hydraulic pressure of oil between low hydraulic pressure and high hydraulic pressure. Specifically, the fuel injection amount correcting means reduces fuel injection amount when the hydraulic pressure of the oil is switched from low hydraulic pressure to high hydraulic pressure, and increases the fuel injection amount when the hydraulic pressure of the oil is switched from high hydraulic pressure to low hydraulic pressure. The fuel injection amount correcting means performs correction so that corrected injection amount gradually approaches to zero over time. Moreover, the fuel injection amount correcting means sets the level of the corrected injection amount based on oil temperature of the engine. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
