PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposal method for a used paper diaper which can easily perform the disposal treatment of a paper diaper by a simple device and a simple process, and is gentle to the earth environment. SOLUTION: Disclosed is a treatment method where a disposable paper diaper in which a water absorption polymer composed of a biodegradable stock is interposed between the outside sheet on the external side and the inside sheet to which the skin of the user touches is used, and is thereafter disposed of, wherein a used paper diaper is charged to a treatment machine 5 provided with a rotary drum, the used paper diaper is immersed into water and is stirred within the rotary drum, an insoluble matter composed of the water absorption polymer, the other composing materials of the paper diaper and excrement is dispersed into the water, and, the water in the rotary drum, and at least the water absorption polymer and excrement are exhausted to a sewer or a septic tank.
