PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for protecting the coated surface of a vehicle such as a car which makes it easy to remove a water stain, can improve the gloss of a glass coating agent coat, and can keep a beautiful appearance for a long time, in considering that the beautiful gloss of the coated surface can be maintained, but a firm water spot is apt to be formed on the surface of the glass coating agent coat and can not be removed easily when the coated surface of the vehicle is coated with the glass coating agent to form the coat. SOLUTION: In the method for protecting the coated surface of the vehicle, the coat of a polymer coating agent is formed on the surface of the glass coating agent coat after the glass coating agent coat is formed on the coated surface.
