The surgical clip application device (1) is movable from a head section (3) to ambos section (4) during the clipping. The head section has a front hollow cylindrical partial head section (5) facing the ambos section. A front end of the head section is covered by a cap (14) at the ambos section removed from a trocar peak (8), where a thread (20) is arranged outside the device and is connected with the cap. The cap is contacted with the trocar head at relatively extended position of the trocar head.
