<p>[PROBLEMS] To provide a retrieval system capable of retrieving desired videos or audio contents from large amounts of television videos and radio broadcasting stored in a mass storage device and contents downloaded through the Internet without using any meta data written by hand. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A server device (10) has a video recording means (12) for recording broadcast program data to create a movie file, an audio file creating means (14) for creating an audio file from the movie file, a waveform generating means (13) for converting character data in a text file into the image file of an acoustic waveform, and a retrieval means (15) for retrieving whether the acoustic waveform expressed by the image file is included in the waveform expressed by the audio file.</p> |
