<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stably preservable multicomponent food having improved taste, especially, a multicomponent dried pet foods or animal foods, having significantly improved texture, and to provide a method for producing and using the food. <P>SOLUTION: An animal food containing an inner component which is a mixture of a lipid and a solid component and encircled with an external matrix to improve the palatability of dual components is provided, in particular, an animal food having a soft lipid-base core encircled by a harder shell material for significantly improving the palatability. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
