<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video display system, simply adjusting the form of a video signal while suitably selecting and adopting any of two or more kinds of video signal output devices. <P>SOLUTION: This video display system includes: a video signal output device group including two or more video signal output devices for outputting a video signal; and a display device receiving the video signal to display a video image. Each video signal output device holds ID information for specifying its own device among the video signal output device group The display device includes: an information read part which reads the ID information from the video signal output devices; a storage part which stores each format information showing the format of the video signal, which corresponds to each of the video signal output devices; a selection part which selects the format information corresponding to the video signal output device specified by the read ID information among the stored format information; and a format adjusting part which adjusts the format of the video signal using the selected format information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
