HANDRAIL WITH INFORMATION DISPLAY PART

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail enabling a handrail component with an information display part such as braille to be connected to a handrail body without a level difference and allowing certain and easy connection even when the inner diameters of the handrail component and handrail body are different.

SOLUTION: The handrail H has the hollow handrail component 2 having the information display part 3 such as braille; the hollow handrail body 1; and a connecting joint 4 for connecting the handrail component to the handrail body. The connecting joint has first and second joint members 41, 45 whose ends are inserted in the handrail component and the handrail body respectively; locking screws 40 screw-inserted in threaded through-holes provided in the first joint member so that the tips 40a press the inner side face 46 of the second joint member to open the first and second joint members; and a decorative member 5 fastened to the lower face of the first joint member to cover heads 40b of the locking screws. Cutout parts 22 formed in almost the same shape as the decorative member and slightly wider than the threaded through-hole and a mounting threaded hole 43 are formed at both ends of the handrail component.
